This policy explains what information 631 Robertson, LLC, doing business as Darling ("Darling", "we"), collects through darling.la, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to this website, our private events pages, and the emails we send about your inquiry or booking.
What we collect
- What you give us. Your name, email, phone number and company when you send an inquiry, build an estimate, book a walkthrough or call, book a private event, or join our newsletter; and the details of your event (date, guests, menu, notes, dietary needs).
- Payments. Deposits and balances are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card or bank number; we keep the card brand and last four digits so you know which card is on file.
- Your visit. Pages viewed, the link or ad that brought you here, device and browser type, and approximate location, collected with cookies and similar technologies (see below).
How we use it
- To answer your inquiry, prepare your estimate, and plan, confirm and run your event.
- To take deposits and payments, send receipts, and handle changes, cancellations and refunds under our event terms.
- To send emails about your inquiry or booking, and our newsletter if you join it (every newsletter has an unsubscribe link).
- To understand how the site is used and to measure and improve our advertising.
- To keep the site and our payment system secure and to meet legal and accounting obligations.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that help us run Darling, under contracts that limit their use of it: Stripe (payments), Microsoft 365 (our email), Cloudflare (website hosting and security), Resend (email delivery), Toast (our restaurant point of sale), Resy (reservations), and our marketing partners below. We may also share information when the law requires it. We do not sell your name, email or phone number.
Cookies and advertising
We use Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel to understand visits and to show and measure our ads, including to people who have visited darling.la. These tools set cookies and may receive information such as the pages you view and whether you sent an inquiry or booked. Under California law, sharing this information for cross-context advertising can count as "sharing". You can opt out at any time (see below), block cookies in your browser, or use Google's ad settings and Meta's ad preferences.
Your California privacy rights
If you live in California, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. To make a request, email [email protected] with the subject "Privacy request". We will confirm your request and respond within 45 days.

How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and booking records for as long as we need them to plan your event and for our tax and accounting records, generally up to seven years, and then delete them. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Security
Payments run on Stripe's secure checkout, our site is served over HTTPS, and access to booking records is limited to the people who need them. No system is perfectly secure, so please contact us if you think your information has been misused.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
